When we arrived, there was more rain during our visit than we had predicted - and yet, my family and I still thought this was one of the most beautiful places and warmest resort we’ve been to. To start off with the setting is just stunning. Our villa is simple but luxurious - very comfortable beds, yummy linens and towels etc. The cookhouse and bar are gorgeous, the food is first class, and there are plenty of activities to choose. The other guests (mainly couples and families) were fun and interesting and added to the experience. The staff is super warm, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The manager was ever present and on top of everything. And the horses! The resort has several horses (all well behaved!). And finally - dinner or lounging at the bar and not being on my phone was such a change that I didn’t realize I needed! I rarely leave a review without suggestions or mentioning what the resort can do better but this place is just so unique and special, I hope it stays just as it is.

They let us check in earlier (10am) as we arrived early from the bus station at 6am which we were really grateful for. Easy to get into town with taxis on Grab. We had some noisy neighbours late one night as the cabins host two rooms, and reception quickly resolved this for us. Buggies to get to and from reception were easy to organise and generally quick to arrive. Breakfast for us was included and the buffet was delicious and good variety. Didn't actually use the pool as we didn't have time in the end, but it was definitely warm enough for a dip in December! Would recommend this resort to anyone going to Sapa and wanting a more luxury stay.
